ABOUT

My impressionist-style paintings aim to capture the character of the coastline and countryside along the Devon coast. Working in a loose, expressive style in acrylic and oil, I hope to reflect a connection to the forest, moors and beaches which provide such inspiration. 

After a career in magazine jornalism in London, I began painting in the US, chanelling homesickness for the North Devon coast into my first abstract seascapes. Since moving to Devon in 2010, I have continued to evolve my self-taught practice, exhibiting in both the UK and the US.

I thoroughly enjoy undertaking commissions, working with clients to capture speicific locatins that celebrate personal and local stories.
